10th December 2019: Will Vinson – Dec 17th Show at The Vortex – Whirlwind debut ‘four forty one’ releasing in Jan 2020

Composer and saxophonist Will Vinson will be releasing his Whirlwind debut and eighth solo album, four forty one on January 31st, 2020 on all formats.

four forty one features a truly remarkable lineup of pianists: Sullivan Fortner, Tigran Hamaysan, Gerald Clayton, Fred Hersch and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, with rhythm section players Matt Brewer, Matt Penman, Rick Rosato, Larry Grenadier, Obed Calvaire, Billy Hart, Clarence Penn, Jochen Rueckert and Eric Harland.

He’ll be playing back in his hometown this month, with a show on December 17th at The Vortex in London with:
