Another review from Hi-Fi News Magazine has reached us here at WWR today, this time for our recent October 2012 release ‘Banned in London’, recorded at the 2011 London Jazz Festival, featuring WWR founder Michael Janisch plus Aruan Ortiz, Greg Osby, Raynald Colom and Rudy Royston.  The review describes the beginning of the album as “opening with an intricate bass solo and building almost sedately until the soloists really let fly” and that “with great sound… this is much, much more than a festival memento”.
