30th November 2020: Rudresh Mahanthappa ‘Hero Trio’ featured in Echoes Magazine (★★★★) and makes Jazzwise Magazine Top 20 New Releases of 2020 – second ‘Hero Trio’ LP pressing coming soon

Over the course of an illustrious twenty-five-year career Rudresh Mahanthappa’s music making has constantly pushed at the artistic boundaries to encompass such diverse influences as classic bebop, the flash and fury of electric fusion, and the complexities of Carnatic music, while always maintaining a clear sense of his own fiercely intelligent, uncompromising musical personality.

His recent release Hero Trio has been one of the most well-received releases of the year, and recently made the Jazzwise Magazine poll of the Top 20 New Releases of 2020. Hero Trio is currently sold out on LP, but stay tuned for details of a second pressing that’s different to the first Limited Edition Red Splattered Vinyl.
