We’re delighted to announce that Django-shift, the new release from guitarist and multiple DownBeat critics poll winner Rez Abbasi, will be released on CD / DL / 12″ LP 180g Limited Edition Vinyl on 28th August 2020.
The album merges many of Django Reinhardt‘s rarely heard compositions with Abbasi’s arranging skills and acoustic guitar stylings along with world-class drummer Michael Sarin and multifaceted keyboardist Neil Alexander. The resulting sound is one that respects Mr. Reinhardt‘s character yet departs from it in meaningful and personal ways.
