A big thanks from Whirlwind Recordings Ltd and Michael Janisch to all those who made his 20+ city, April 2012  UK tour a reality, from promoters, to venues, to fellow musicians and most importantly the fans and supporters who came out to the shows.

The band featured NYC residents and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians Gene Jackson on drums, David Berkman on piano, and Tim Armacost on saxophones (collectively known as the New York Standards Quartet).   The group played in over 20 cities to over 5,000 audience members and a couple hundred individuals at workshops across the UK.  Also, for your statistic-buffs, the band’s tour van clocked in at nearly 4,500 miles (and this was just in England with only one tour date in Wales!!).  So it’s safe to say they covered a good portion of England in just over two weeks.  Musically, the band started in overdrive and never left, with each night reaching new levels of exploration and excitement.

The tour was generously supported by Arts Council England.
