Partisans (comprised of electric guitarist Phil Robson, saxophonist Julian Siegel, electric bassist Thaddeus Kelly and drummer Gene Calderazzo) focus on collective improvisation, bringing bags of power and personality to this release. Recorded in their old Stoke Newington stomping ground The Vortex, Nit de Nit is an alchemic concoction of groove, homage and energy, laced with humour and joie de vivre.
