22nd May 2011: Michael Janisch’s ‘Paradigm Shift’ Tour a huge Success!

Michael Janisch’s recent 2 week tour around the UK and Ireland culminated in a live recording at the Pizza Express Jazz Club on the 4 and 5 of May, and the music was smoking! After the usual sifting through the music, this will end up being MJ’s second album, featuring Jason Palmer trumpet, Colin Stranahan Drums, Paul Booth Tenor Sax, and Leo Genovese Piano/Keys.  The music captured was very special on these nights and WWR is very excited about this release.   Also, the Showcase gigs were a great success, and we can now happily say that 165 individuals are now owners of Michael Janisch’s debut album ‘Purpose Built’  Thanks for all the support shown on this tour!  There were a few exceptional reviews from the tour, one from Birmingham (click HERE), one from Glasgow (click HERE) and one from Newcastle (click HERE).  Stay tuned for more on this new music.
