25th September 2019: Michael Janisch – Worlds Collide launch dates + ★★★★★ from The Jazzmann + WBGO Take Five Feature

 

Michael Janisch has started his Worlds Collide album release dates last night in Glasgow at the Blue Arrow with George Crowley on tenor saxophone, Nathaniel Facey on alto saxophone, Rick Simpson on piano and Shane Forbes on drums.  Tonight they’re at the Jazz Bar in Edinburgh, followed by East Side Jazz Club in Birmingham and the official launch show at Kings Place in London on Friday.

 

Michael and his new album Worlds Collide  have had some great press as of late, including a featured in the Scottish Herald (read full article here) as well as WBGO’s latest TAKE FIVE from Nate Chinen (full article here), as well as some coverage in London Jazz News discussing his tour and album and a great ★★★★★ review from The Jazz Mann (full article here). The first single off of Worlds CollideAnother London, has recently been added to Spotify’s ‘Jazz UK’ playlist.

Worlds Collide is available now on limited edition 2 x 180 gram orange splattered gatefold vinyl.  A limited amount of copies remain here.
