13th December 2013: Jeff Williams’ WWR Release ‘The Listener’ Picked By The ‘All About Jazz Critic’s List’ As One of The Best of 2013

Esteemed drummer, composer and bandleader Jeff Williams earlier this year released his second album on WWR entitled The Listener which achieved a great response from critics with 4 star reviews from The Guardian, Marlbank, The Financial Times and The Jazz Mann with London Jazz News stating that “Williams is at the height of his powers after 40 years of working with so many jazz greats, from Stan Getz to Dave Liebman. This album takes the tradition onwards, with gifted musicians whose cutting edge solos show how intently they’re listening to each other. And now we’re listening too.”
