28th August 2013: Jeff Williams Review from Jazz Weekly + International Trumpet Guild Review of Andre Canniere’s ‘Forward Space’

In today we have a review from Jazz Weekly for a recent WWR release – Jeff William’s The Listener, as well as a review from the  International Trumpet Guild for Andre Canniere’s release Forward Space. 

The review of The Listener, which can be viewed here, associates the album to the music of Ornette Coleman and describes the band as in sync and displaying ‘fine solos by the horns’. The Listener has had great results with the press, with a 4 star reviews from The Guardian, Marlbank and The Financial Times and many other glowing reviews.

International Trumpet Guild describe Andre Canniere’s Forward Space as an “exciting and imaginative album that highlights an impressive UK recording debut”  and “a real gem and heralds impressive things to come from a young player.”
