27th May 2022: ‘Curated Reality’ – the second single from Tommy Crane’s ‘We’re All Improvisers Now’ released today

The second single from Tommy Crane‘s forthcoming album We’re All Improvisers Now is out today.

Tommy says: “‘Curated Reality’ is insular yet excitable. The track is an entirely solo endeavor that features synths and lop-sided guitar riffs (that are a purposeful misdirect – since they are played on a Prophet 6 synthesizer). In essence, it explores the nuances of synthetic and real, although nothing on the track is programmed. Inspired by the collaborative studio album The Moon and the Melodies by Scottish dream pop band Cocteau Twins and the American minimalist composer Harold Budd, the song is bookended by an ambient intro and outro.”

The full album drops June 24 on DL, CD and 180 gram, 12″ LP in Natural Translucent Vinyl – Colored inner sleeves + pop out poster – comes with download code containing the digital album in multiple formats. Pre-order here.
