Jason Rebello

Profile

Jason Rebello is widely regarded as one of the most creative pianists emerging from the UK since he burst onto the scene in the early 1990s. He features as a guest soloist on ‘World in a World’ as part of Brotherly’s landmark compilation Analects.

Beginning on electric keyboards in the Herbie Hancock mould, Rebello made history as the first jazz musician to secure entry as a classical student to the Guildhall School of Music in London. Since then, Rebello has continued to span classical and jazz contexts, and inventively mixes jazz, latin, soul and hiphop. He has worked with musicians including Tim Garland, Sting, Jeff Beck and Peter Gabriel.
