Gabriel Grossi is considered one of the greatest harmonica players in the world. A virtuoso musician with a remarkable personality carving a niche for his instrument into the rich universe of Brazilian Music.

Although young, Gabriel has an extensive trajectory. In addition to his well established solo career he has been, since 2005, a member of the Hamilton de Holanda Quintet, winner of the 2007 best Brazilian group prize and Latin Grammy Awards finalist for three consecutive years.

He has collaborated in important projects; touring with the late clarinetist Paulo Moura, with whom he played from 2003 until his death, and with the singers Zelia Duncan and Beth Carvalho, with whom he has recorded CDs and DVDs.

Gabriel Grossi was described by harmonica legend Toots Thielemans as his successor, and he has collaborated with many Brazilain greats. He loves to cross boundaries, playing with the likes of Snarky Puppy, Dave Matthews, Anat Cohen and Lilian Vieira (Zuco 103). In his own band he plays with a seasoned Brazilian rhythm section and saxophone giant Seamus Blake.

His 2019 release #motion sees him performing alongside Hermeto Pascoal
