The debut album from Swedish alto saxophonist and composer Hannes Bennich is now available for pre-order on our e-store.
When Losing A Dream To Reality will be released October 28 and available on DL, CD and Limited Edition LP.
The first single from the album is out today. ‘Non-Religious’ is, “something I’ve been dealing with my whole life,” says Bennich, “growing up in a non-religious home but having a lot of religious friends, I’ve seen how beautiful that community can be”. The track centres around a compelling motif which is introspective and calming. Check it out here.
When Losing A Dream To Reality also features Stockholm-based pianist/composer Britta Virves and bassist Tomas Sjödell as well as Danish drummer Emil Norman. Special guest vocalist Helen Salim also joins the lineup for one track.
