Gautier Garrigue

Profile

Born in 1987 in Perpignan, Gautier Garrigue studied drums and guitar at the regional conservatory graduate in jazz in 2002. He moved to Paris in 2007. He performs with many bands: Henri Texier Sand Quintet, David Enhco Quartet, The Drops, Flash Pig, Seamus Blake and The French Connection, Gil Evans Paris Workshop (Laurent Cugny), Yaron Herman, Soweto Kinch Trio, Franck Amsallem Quartet, Florent Nisse Quintet and Tony Tixier Trio.

He played with prominent musicians from the international scene such as  Logan Richardson, Emile Parisien, Michel Portal, Christian Scott, Sophie Alour, Ben van Gelder, Eric Legnini, Thomas Enhco, Walter Smith III, Romain Pilon, Cyrille Aimée, Manuel Rocheman, Pierre de Bethmann, Chris Cheek, Jakob Bro, Michael Janisch, Uri Caine, Manu Codjia, Andy Sheppard, Antoine Hervé, Francois Moutin, Edouard Ferlet, Emmanuel Bex, Rick Margitza, Géraldine Laurent, Baptiste Herbin, Serge Lazarevitch, Scott Tixier, Steve Nelson and Oran Etkin.

He played in many great jazz clubs and numerous Festivals in Europa, Asia, Africa and Canada : North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, Vancouver Jazz festival, Jazz in Marciac, Venezia Jazz festival, Victoria Jazz festival, Skopje Jazz festival, Nancy Jazz pulsations, Festival Radio France, Paris Jazz Festival.
